I had just completed the 5 week women's program course yesterday and I must say that it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life! At first, I felt so intimidated as it was out of my comfort zone but coach Brandon and Jasmine made me feel so comfortable in learning the basics and fundamentals of jiu-jitsu. I learned so much within the short week but also had so much fun practicing and rolling with the ladies! I look forward to continuing my jiu-jitsu journey with my girls and husband (who are already in the program) and excited to learn more. If I could give this rating beyond a 5 star I would! I am so glad I did the 5 week jiujitsu all girl program at open mat! I had such a great experience learning new techniques and getting to know a lot of wonderful people. Coach Brandon is seriously the best coach! He is very patient and helpful with all his students. He is very knowledgeable in this sport and makes jiujitsu really fun and exciting. Thank you soo much open mat for giving me an opportunity to learn something new in such a great environment. I will deff continue my jiujitsu journey here at open mat academy!

If you want to learn self defense, this is the place! I had seen the advertisement on Instagram for the women’s 5 weeks beginners classes. At first I was nervous but coach Brandon and Jasmine made me feel comfortable learning and belonging in the class. I left feeling excited for the next class! I met a bunch of ladies and made new friends. I finished class famished and had the ‘black belt’ açaí bowl made by Kiana, it was so yummy and replenished me! Can’t wait to continue my jiujitsu journey!!
