“We just had our sunken and cracked driveway replaced with a better built concrete driveway. I'm very particular in getting into the technical details with contractors on how they are going to build and do things so I can ensure the job is performed per recommended practices and beyond so I can get a product that lasts and lasts, and to detect if a contractor will take shortcuts. I can tell you that this contractor did a phenomenal job and built this driveway perfectly and to last. We had trowelled expansion joints put in on the driveway and they are beautifully done with nice round corners, exceptionally straight lines, and at the proper depth. And the brushed finish on the surface was done to perfection. I won't get into the other technical details that are very important on constructing a lasting driveway but will say he covered and did the job just as I expected it to be built. Froilan, the owner, is very responsive on his calls and adheres to his schedule. On top of that, he is very friendly and is VERY ethical and hardworking and does it all for a fair price. He is easy to work with and will accommodate special requests...in my case, it was laying PVC sleeves under the driveway for future irrigation and electrical repairs before installing the frames, rebar, and roadbase. He has earned a permanent spot on my contractor's call list as he is top notch and is a person that won't nickel and dime you. He puts in a lot of personal pride in the work he does and wants it to be done right and directly supervises and works with his crew. After the job was done, I received A LOT of extremely positive comments from our neighbors and from the tenant who is living there about the top quality work that was performed and how clean they left the worksite each day. I am more than pleased to award Froilan 5 stars for his work, outstanding customer service, performance, knowledge, and results.“

The project manager Pat was great with recommending options and transparent about potential issues like where we could connect to main drainage lines. He also helped recommend vinyl decking for a decorative slat wall that really elevated the look of our yard. The team doing the work were super professional and clean. “I am new to San Clemente so I have to start over when it comes to picking contractors for our household projects. I felt a bit nervous when choosing a company to install pavers (and a wall). This was a big project for us and I wanted to make sure we chose a reputable company that was going to provide excellent service and Ocean Pavers did not disappoint. They were amazing from start to finish. Brad came to our house and gave us what I thought was a fair estimate. It was not the highest or lowest but based on my research (my vetting process is extensive - I always research companies on CA consumer affairs, better business bureau etc...) they seemed like the best choice. I value responsiveness and both Chad and Dieter excelled in this department. I have found that responsiveness is not a trait that most contractors possess. Rarely do I get a response to my email or text in the same day but with Dieter he always responded to my questions. He kept me in the loop every day. I always knew where I stood with the project. As I said, I place a high value on responsiveness. His crew was very professional, they cleaned up at the end of the day and always asked my opinion if needed.
