“So, I went in to do a bit of self care: got a 3rd set of piercings (I May get a 4th set, as I've still got space for them on my lobes); figured the ear care solution I had from a previous set I got was, probably, old, so I bought a new one. The one who pierced my ears was great; absolutely No complaints about her...I would like for her to do my 4th set, eventually.

But I'm a bit confused: I came by a week later (I wanted to do a check-in over the progress of my piercings, wanted to know how long I should wait to change the earrings, & when I could get another set). I don't remember the gentleman's name, but -in addition to the follow-up, I'd Also wanted to get some information about the solutions; so I brought in the 2 that I have: my older one & the one I bought at this shop. It was suggested that I avoid using the older one (white bottle) because it has benzalkonium chloride and that it could cause irritation; to not use it directly on my ears, but that it should be fine for cleaning my earrings. That's fine; I don't mind that...thing is, the new ear care solution (green box) Also has that ingredient. So, is it Not a concern in the new bottle? Is the issue the, maybe, higher concentration of benzalkonium chloride in the white bottle vs the [maybe] diluted form in the new one?“
