“I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Dr. Michael Lum and the new Fractional CO2 laser.

After months of research comparing machines, treatment options, and providers, I can say that Dr. Lum’s office has the best fractional CO2 laser experience in the area. Their machine is the latest technology, featuring a Tetra Pro CO2 laser mode called “Cool Peel Mode” that delivers great results with minimal to no downtime. I have seen other machines without the newer features and they are a no-go. The new cool peak mode is almost unheard of with traditional CO2 treatments!

I’ve done IPL in the past and while it helped somewhat with redness and pigmentation, the results from this fractional CO2 treatment are on another level. My skin tone is noticeably more even, texture is smoother, and the fine lines I was targeting look significantly reduced… without the harsh peeling and long recovery time I expected.

Dr. Lum explained everything clearly. He made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. He 100% stays up to date on the latest technology and techniques.

“I enjoyed getting a Fractional CO2 laser at Dermatown. I got it in February of 2025. It was my first time getting a laser done to my face, so I wasn’t entirely sure how to go about it. Fortunately, the customer service was amazing and I felt comfortable getting the laser. I was given detailed instructions of how to care for my face post treatment and they gave me a kit to take home. The kit had directions on them and skin care tools to care for my face. I was also able to send Dermatown daily photos of my face so they could track my progress and guide me on what to do each day as my face was going through the stages of the treatment. “Excellent place , Dr.Solomon is a real medical doctors , family practice and I would recommend her as your primary physician as well . She did such a great job for my kybella , she did The entire jaw line not just under my chin like the last girl . I had a proper consultation. She does esthetics on Friday and Mon to Fri is a regular doctors office . Office is beautiful and staff are all so kind . Very wonderful experience and highly recommended! If I wasn't moving out of state I would do all my injections here, Botox etc . Please go to this spa !“

“I visited this medspa last year to get a Gluta drip and the service was amazing. Sylvia is friendly and explained the best service to meet my needs. The gluta drip was pricey, so it is definitely a treat and splurge. The rooms are clean and relaxing. I would definitely go back but it is quite a travel for me.“

“Definitely recommend and trusted. Skin EX has locations around LA and OC. I chose Torrance because I live nearby in Redondo Beach. I just turned 60 and wanted to tighten my forehead and jowls areas. I also had wrinkles on my forehead that I considered deep. I was going towards the Botox and fillers route but the upkeep and results wasn't exciting me.
