I noticed the reviews weren't all that great but recognized they were all dated, so I decided to give the nail salon a try. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon; it was fairly busy but I didn't wait long to be seated and, to my surprise, was promptly assisted. The nail tech was nice and engaging. I saw several returning customers stop in to make appointments or just to say hello. This made me feel very comfortable; having that type of rapport with customers has to be a great sign, right? I live right up the street from this nail salon, and I would come here all the time while I was in school for all the major school dances, especially for prom. Over the years my mother and I have tried other nail salons in the area just to see. Today, it seemed like all of the salons in the Beach Cities area were all booked up and couldn't fit in myself or my mom (mani/pedi for myself and a pedicure for my mom). We walked into the salon and there was only one other person having a pedicure done and they were able to accommodate my mom and myself right away.
