Patricia has been doing my taxes for more than 15 years. Of course her expertise is fantastic - always up-to-date - and consistently error-free. But the real reason I've stayed with her for so long is that I love her warm personality. She is a straight-shooter who lays out the hard facts in a way that makes you feel seen and supported. Patricia also does my parents taxes and their situation is complicated by two homes in two states, rental income, retirement income/investments, and more. My mother doesn't use Yelp - but if she did - she would also give Patricia 5-stars!

Beware: Stay away! She messed up on filing for two people I know, causing them both IRS fines. Didn't bother to file their taxes for months. Claimed there'd be no IRS fine, then had us pay inflated IRS payments to hide the fine. Dishonest, untrustworthy, dismissive, and rude. If you are working with her now, check all her work VERY carefully. Says she files everyone's taxes late and they don't complain. Probably because they do not notice how he hides the IRS fines for late filing. Also, she adds bogus charges to her bills. Beware if she gives you a low fee quote--there will be added charges for equipment, programs and the classes she is legally required to take.

Stay away, far away. I am writing a long review because I think potential customers need to be warned. I have never encountered such a shady, volatile, so-called "professional" (NOTE: she is NOT a certified public accountant). She has been doing my 97-year-old mother's taxes for years and this year I started paying attention to my mom's finances (given her age it was overdue). Although we gave Patricia all the materials over a month before the April tax deadline, she neglected to file my mom's taxes.
