We had a few projects around the house that we needed an electrician for... I got a few contact numbers, made the calls, got the estimates, but wasn't too impressed. So one sunny afternoon, driving home for lunch I saw the Caltec Electric truck on the 118 took down the number and called later that afternoon. Dan came out the next day and gave us a very reasonable estimate for everything that needed to be done and recommended a contractor to work on the patching and on a TV stand/unit we wanted re-built. Dan did a wonderful job with everything. He put up 2 chandeliers; I could not for the life of me figure out how he was going to put them up, because we didn't have the right parts and they weren't standard. But they're up and they look beautiful! He re-routed wires for the TV stand/unit being re-built and for the chandeliers (he had to put new light boxes and switches in); placed lights on the side of our house; worked on the electrical for our a/c unit that we needed moved to another spot in our backyard--a last minute job; and fixed the GFI in our kitchen that was giving us grief. He went beyond the call of duty, even fixing the arm of a chandelier I had accidentally broken. Dan is reliable, professional and stayed till the job was done and we were all satisfied. And for someone who had to stick around the house for a while working on all the electrical, it was nice that he had a good sense of humor about things. I absolutely recommend Caltec to anyone who wants a job well done!
