Excellent company and team. Written estimate included their license with our city of San Gabriel (which was helpful in getting permit). Communicated very well, arrived on time, were so efficient that a job (1 HUGE ash, 1 tall sycamore, a fruit tree and clearing vines off roof) that I'd guess would take over a day was done in just 6+ hours. Very good cleanup, too. And crew was very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend Mr. Ward's Tree Service and his team.

We needed firewood last year. I called numerous places and was told that it was gone. When I called George, he had a 1/2 cord for me. His price for the wood and the stacking was considerably lower than the other places I had called. He arrived with 2 guys who did the stacking. The wood was a good assortment, nice and dry and they did a good job of stacking it. It was a generous 1/2 cord. When I paid him, George gave me his card and I saw he does tree services. We have a huge Deodar tree in the front that we had been talking about getting trimmed. My husband came out and George took a good look, said he would trim it for $1200. My mom has been a long-term customer of Ward Tree Service, probably for the last 35 years or so, and he has always done a great job trimming the many tall trees that surround her house. In recent years her yard became severely overgrown, so I asked Mr. Ward if he would clear the weeds, rake up the leaves, and trim all of the bushes on her property. I wasn't sure if they do other kinds of gardening, since they are a tree service, but they did. I am so extremely happy, impressed, and literally thrilled with the job that they did! It took two full days of work, but now the yard is cleared, trimmed, and serene. It looks so fantastic. Their prices are very reasonable. Ward Tree Service is the best! Mr. Ward and his staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and hard working. I recommend them but with reservations stated below. Note: I downgraded their rating from 5 stars to 4 stars because I later learned that Mr. Ward's team filled my mom's green bins with green waste (logs and clippings) from their work, which was annoying since they brought an enormous truck to haul away the waste and they had a crew of men to load it. Plus, I specifically requested and paid for them to remove all yard waste. Why leave some of the debris behind? Why didn't they just take all of it away? Also, the city waste haulers didn't take away this green waste until the next pick up date, so it sat out in front of my mom's house for days before it was finally gone.
