They are not only thorough professionals but also good people with a good heart and positive energy. The same positive energy is reflected in the gym's atmosphere, which makes a big difference while you're getting in shape there. All my workouts were tailored to my needs, and I truly appreciated that. The gym is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and well-maintained. Ali and Micah always patiently responded to all my concerns and questions in detail, as did my fantastic trainers, Divya and Jorge, who did a great job at training me. Even though I had to terminate my membership early due to a personal health emergency, I gained a lot of knowledge in the short period of time, which I aim to implement in my workouts in the future. The care and incredible therapy I have received and worked on over the last year with Dr Kyle and the other therapists at Elevate have been incredibly life saving to me. The care is personalized. One on one with your Doctor of PT. My recovery would never have come along this far after a year without the professionalism and incredible therapy- which required hard work- without Elevate. I am a former marathon runner and athlete so it was very important to me to work hard with the best after a freak ski accident. Elevate has been a major factor in my recovery and I am so thankful for their amazing positive support and pushing me to get back to the best I can be.“

“Earlier this year, I decided to start taking my health more seriously. Like many out there with demanding jobs, I often find myself feeling too exhausted after work to work out. I finally decided to invest in private training sessions at The Study and I am so glad that I did! The Study is situated in a clean, spacious location and is even equipped with a cold tub and sauna! As someone who spent years paying for gym memberships at major health club chains, I am thrilled to have made the switch to The Study, an independently owned and operated studio that focuses on personal, customized training. The trainers helped keep me accountable for my fitness goals and customized a program that accommodated my work schedule. Alexander is a knowledgable and professional instructor who seems truly invested in the progress of his clients. He has a deep understanding of exercise physiology, and is skilled at developing workout plans that maximize results and gradually build in intensity over time. My sessions with him are always challenging yet fun. On top of that, he is pleasant to be around and easy to talk to. I always look forward to my sessions with him and I cannot recommend him enough! The Study also recently expanded their offerings to include electromyostimulation (EMS) workouts, which involve wearing a suit with built-in electrodes that target and stimulate specific muscles while you exercise. I was initially reluctant to try this out, but after completing a session led by Karen, I can say it was a unique and interesting adjunct to conventional strength training. Karen was friendly & enthusiastic and I hope to have more sessions with her in the future. I am very pleased with the progress I have made since starting at The Study. I feel stronger and more confident with each session, and give my unreserved recommendation!“

2114 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica“Shevi is a true healer (and one of the most amazing people). For me this has been life changing. Shevi gets to the root of what's causing the issues in your body (working a lot with the fascia), she also helps heal and strengthen every aspect of your body. What I wasn't expecting was the emotional release that comes in each session, we hold trauma and emotions in our fascia and so of course working with it acts as a major release. Shevi teaches you what to do on your own to continue the strengthening at home and deepening the transformation. I can't tell you the difference I have seen in every part of my body. I broke my foot and came to Shevi for rehab and for other issues in my body and it's been incredible. My fiancé also sees her now and it has changed his body immensely. He's an athlete and had multiple issues that weren't healing until Shevi began working her magic. His fascia was very tight (we could hear it popping as she worked on him) and his results have been miraculous. This is great for anyone who is an athlete, physically active or who needs physical rehab, this is your place. You won't stop coming once you start.“

Our puppy was very difficult to walk, biting, and all around puppy-like (of course!) but it was leaving me overwhelmed. We signed up for Puppy Kindergarten and it made a huge difference. By the end of the session you have all the tools you need to keep the training going on your own. For me, it was helpful to have accountability with the class environment. It also helped me reframe the way I saw her and all my frustrations. After all, she's just a puppy and she didn't know what I wanted her to do! She can now do sit, down, come, and loose leash walk with minimal guidance from me. It's a huge turnaround in a very short amount of time. Thank you, Tracy!“

9745 Independence Ave, Chatsworth“LOVE. My 12yo son is just starting, was very nervous the first day, but they had him fitting right in. My son has social anxiety, but craves individual style physical challenges (climbing, parkour...). Hapkido has been a perfect fit. I thought it would be "too baby/too beginner" for him, as a 12yo, but even with younger kids in the beginner class, he didn't feel too old. They challenge them right away to step up to level, and he left practicing the moves for hours.“
