I went to the Providence ER last Sunday with abdominal pain. I was taken to a room within 20 minutes of arrival, immediately had a Catscan and blood test, and within 1.5 hours the decision was made to admit me for acute appendicitis. I had wonderful and quick care in the ER Once taken to my room, I was very surprised with how lovely it was. Spacious individual room, with a reclining chair and a couch. And the nursing care I received before and after my appendectomy was absolutely top notch! I had contemplated going out to the ER at Cedar Sinai for my care, but decided to go to Providence because it was so much closer. I am exceedingly happy with that decision. Dr. Sugarman is an example of a caring, compassionate ER physician who exemplifies excellent llistening skillls and comprehensive care. My experience in the ER was impressive thanks to the talents of Dr. Sugarman. I highly recommend that anyone who requires a visit to an ER in the San Fernando Valley head to this great facility.

Recently moved to the valley and boy are people not aware of the quality of the healthcare system in this country and especially this city if they think this very nice, clean and beautifully renovated hospital is bad. Saw Dr Solomon in the ER last night and he was great. And the facility is spotless, I was in and out with no wait time in the lobby. I definitely have gratitude that we have this small hospital so close.
