“Dr. Iriarte is knowledgeable and professional. I found out the glasses I purchased at another facility and found out weren't transitional lenses like I paid but fortunately my eye sight wasn't terribly compromised. I was able to purchase bifocals (Medical) they don't cover transitional lenses but it better to have the old fashioned glasses and see.“

“I was in Dr. Michael Frisch office this morning at 7:30am 06/20/24 for comprehensive exam. Dr. Michael Frisch is very professional and is very thorough during the exam. He examined my eyes carefully and patiently. He has a good sense of humor. After my exam he showed me the results on the computer screen, spectacle lens, prior years history. They have a beautiful office with latest technology. Office staff, Andrew, Emily and Janice make you feel welcome. They are always very friendly and helpful especially when you have questions regarding your insurance, glasses, etc. Andrew helped me with the selection of glasses while Janice and Emily were attending to customers via phone or working in the computer. “The front desk was very helpful both on the phone and in person. I asked if they accept walk ins and they were able to squeeze us in for an appt same day. Marta was great. Quick but thorough exam. We were in and out in less than 20 mins. She took her time to listen to my concerns. They're located inside the Costco so plenty of parking.“

I was greeted and acknowledged as soon as I entered :) Staff member explained to me what we would be doing today, she informed me of what my insurance covered and also of my co-pays , she made everything (in financial perspective) very clear and i felt comfortable proceeding with the appointment. “Redeveloped property in Mission Hills. On the corner of Sepulveda Blvd and Devonshire. The revamp made it more inviting, looking posh and clean. Outdoor mall with plenty of shops from dining, shopping, gym and a bank. Plenty of parking - front and back. It is visible from 405 freeway, drivable from 118 freeway, walking distance from the residents nearby and bikeable too. What's missing though is a charging station. I didn't see any. “Discount Optical has had a face lift! When I was there for my eye exam I was happily surprised to find that they now have several O.D and a few M.Ds They took my insurance too! After my exam with brand new medical equipment in the redone office, I felt secure that my sight was now in good hands! Then I went over to the Optical Shop to pick out frames, the woman was really helpful, in finding me a frame that not only looked great on me, but fit my RX. To help hide the thick sides. My glasses came in about 8 days later and they fitted to face. I got a box with a cloth and instructions on how to care for them. I was so impressed I also bought a fun pair of RX sunglasses! This is a great place for inexpensive designer frames and lenses. I'm looking forwards to my next eye exam.“
