I want to give a special thanks to Garescape landscape contractor Miguel Gatica. His service is simply great and he has a very pleasant personality.
We had two large fences that need to be replaced, debris hauled away, roots taken out, a new irrigation system that needed to be installed, sod rolled out, and many plants planted.
It is hard to find a company that will do everything with such good quality and good price. Miguel is very comfortable when he is working. He frequently works alongside his workers together.
Miguel took care of everything for us. He even dug a tree stump out for us. His workers were very polite, hardworking, and nice. They finished the job in a timely manner and now everything looks great!

“In 2018, Joaquin and his crew installed a beautiful, custom-designed iron gate at the side of my house. The gate opens up to a large parking area. Recently, I accidentally drove my car through the closed gates, knocking one part of the gate slightly askew and bending the rods that go into the ground to hold the gate in place when the doors are closed. Joaquin and his assistant came out and did a beautiful job of fixing the gate. Joaquin is a perfectionist and worked on it until it was perfect. I highly recommend him if you need any of his services.“

“Had a great experience with Bay Pacific Fence Co! I enjoyed interacting with Dylan, and selected BPFCo mostly based on my "gut" reaction to him. (Well, that combined with the company's solid Yelp rating). I am glad that I did! I LOVE my new gate! It's 12' wide, so Dylan recommended a metal-frame gate. He said that on a gate that wide, using a wood frame (even with 6x6 posts) would cause sagging over time. It was more expensive that way, but should save us money and headaches in the long run. Furthermore, it looks fantastic!! I received not one, not two, but THREE separate compliments from various neighbors the week after it was installed. Initially they weren't sure they could give me the style that I wanted with a metal frame, but in the end, they pulled it off, and I love it. Highly recommended!“

“We have a house with redwood fences and Ipe siding on the house and needed to refinish and restain all the wood last fall. We obtained a number of quotes. Cal Preserving was not the least expensive of the quotes but I was able to speak to the owner, Bruce, and he explained their process of wood preservation and staining in great detail. Their process made the most sense to me so we chose them do the work. They did all the work needed and did a great job! Everything looked great and the wood looked like new when they finished.

Over the following winter and the rains and direct exposure to the elements, we noticed some issues with our wood siding and I contacted Bruce again. He was very responsive and came to our home for an inspection. He was very thoughtful in his evaluation of the issues and he presented us with a number of possible options to correct the problems. I was very impressed that he took the time to think about all the possible options for us as I don't think a lot of other contractors would do the same. We chose a solution that seemed to make the most sense to us and Bruce sent over one of his teams to do the work. This team of Cesar and Moses and Samuel were the best of all the teams we had met so far (all the Cal Preserving teams were great but I really enjoyed working with Cesar and Moses). Great with communication. Did great work and were very friendly and professional. Wood looks great again! With some of the modifications of their process, I am hopeful that the siding will resist the elements better than last year.
