The stylist should NOT be doing straighting services. I've had Japanese hair straightening(thermal reconditioning) done in the past, and went in for a touch up on my new growth. The stylist over-processed my entire head of hair. No remedy is possible at this point. I researched the brand they use before-hand and it is reputable, however the application method is bad. Do not recommend for this kind of service.
As per others comments they charged extra $$ saying long hairs. My hairs are just 2 inches below shoulder length and I paid extra $$. Its not same quality of service as before anymore compare to Last couple of times . They Reduced material to be used, reduced steps in the process of permanent hair straightening. As a result, few of my (inside layer) hairs are still wavy after a wash (after 4 days). Overall ok, but not great.
Went for the second time today. Caitlyn was my hair colorist who Knows hair!! She recommended a color and got my hair exactly as she had showed. Very personable too. Will be returning back to their new Sunnyvale location (across an Apple office).
