Came in for smog check for renewal sticker, and also brakes check for squeaky squekum. Smog check was done right away, and they advised that the brake pads were cheap and rotors should have been resurfaced (?) at same time. But said should be safe for 3 more months, so we needn't worry about Santa not coming for the kids or soup for Christmas, haha. Friendly, quick and truthful service that will be valuable in the future: ask for quality parts for your cars!

My AC stopped working and I came to Sunnyvale Auto Care. I did call ahead (at like 3:30pm and they closed at 5pm) to make sure they could see me today. Due to other delays I wasn't able to show up until 4:30pm. Took a while to check in as the staff were busy on the phone and assisting others, but was finally able to check in after some time. They weren't too happy about how late I came but still took my car in ASAP without a fight. They explained the potential costs to me. First my car needed a diagnosis before we could pinpoint the problem. And the "fix" they had for me, was usually only 80-90% successful so it was up to me whether I wanted to do it / pay for it. They also encouraged me to check the price with Honda. I researched (very quickly, like less than 2 mins) and Sunnyvale Auto Care was cheaper and I was on a time crunch so I told them to go ahead. But all these things they did, made me very comfortable as a customer. It seems like they actually care and want the best for me and my car. They quickly filled up the refrigerant and my AC was good to go again, around 30 minutes after closing. Thanks Sunnyvale Auto Care for the great service. I would highly recommend them and come back.

Got there early and already there were several people wanting smog service. The poor guys seemed a bit harried with all the people wanting service, but they were courteous, professional, and I was out of there within 40 minutes. No appointment is required, but appointments can be made. They are open 8-5. I thought the service I got was great. I will go back there..
