Post is a long time coming. My son played in this league for 4 years. In that time he was regularly one of the best players on his team. His last year with MVLL was 2 years ago. He was put on the AAA White Sox and hit nearly .700. He played a very good first base and took them along with the coaches son to a victory in the AAA tournament and a birth in an inland empire tournament. He had several home runs and many extra base hits besides. When it came time for All Stars a bunch of coaches kids made it and they were unmercifully eliminated very quickly. This is the most disorganized league. Every game is at a different park..games start late, the coaching (at least where we were placed) is less than desirable, the competitive nature is completely lacking. Hoping Pony is better in the spring, if not..I’ll drive 30 minutes there and back to go back to Orangecrest.
