“I worked with Mar and her team for my wedding and they were absolutely exceptional, I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. I was lucky enough to work with Mar for hair and Vanessa for make up. The trial was both so helpful and so much fun. They were both extremely flexible and open to feedback which made me feel comfortable enough to figure out what I wanted (which was different to the inspiration pictures I had selected - they were definitely not me!). I felt confident that they understood my hair/skin and knew what I wanted. I got my hair and make up done for the rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks - I highly recommend doing this - I was feeling a little nervous with all of the festivities starting and Mar ensured I was laughing non-stop and made me so comfortable and grounded. It felt like it kicked off the weekend so nicely. For the wedding day we had 11 people needing hair and make up, and I was concerned we would be starting really early, but we didn't need to start until 10am so I could enjoy the morning with my friends. In all my times as a bridesmaid I've never experience a team of artists work so quickly, yet make everyone look so stunning. Everyone was so happy with their look, and considering someone is usually unhappy, this was a relief! I can't recommend TEAM enough - it was one of the best parts of my wedding planning process. I got married in Santa Barbara, but would recommend seeing if you can work with them wherever your event is - they're that good!“

“Went to Ryan & Deborah for 13.5 years off & on while living in SB. Best hair salon in the 805, hands down. Ryan does GREAT things with men's hair, and Deborah is also good for men's, but excellent for women's. Wish that i could find stylists this good in San Diego... i really miss them!“

When I left I had no doubt it was fully dry and that it would hold for the evening. My only frustration was that they did not accept cash and I didn’t know that until I went to pay.“

It is quite difficult to find a salon that does perms in the 805 and Adela totally came to the rescue! I am so pleased with the results :’) the salon itself is so cute w so much character. I was SO nervous about getting a haircut and my hair is badly damaged from all the color over the years so I was really happy with the care and concern from this stylist who listened to me and offered reassurance. I am very pleased with the results and HIGHLY recommend this stylist (and this salon which is very nice.) The service is excellent, I felt like family!
