“Overall Amanda was very forth coming and guided us through the entire process.
She prepared us that the hospital would be aggressive in providing where our loved one would go and provided us her detailed info in advance which prepared us emotionally. She was extremely empathetic, she listened, and she really drove what is a very hard process for a family with a caring heart. We truly would have been lost with her and appreciate all the support!“
“This place has been fenced and protected and yiu mist go under a barbed wire gate to get through. Someone does tend to it, but many headstones are badly deteriorated. Peaceful location.“
“Had an awesome experience with Fairmont after my Dad passed , Chelsea was the lady I was in contact with and handled the paperwork etc . very nice & compassionate - will definitely come back and use them again“
“Bryan Baker Funeral Home provided services for both my parents and my mother in law. They provided awesome service and care during these difficult preparations.“
“I would highly recommend this funeral home. Great location and plenty of parking. The staff, especially Ken and Laura, were very efficient, empathetic, helpful, patient and all around fantastic considering the circumstances. They made sure that everything went smoothly and very communicative every step of the way. The facilities were quaint, clean and had a beautiful flow. I cannot thank them enough for assisting the family with everything.“
“My Daddy E.G.Wms is resting comfortable since 2009. Love you Daddy. I miss him so much.“
“Thank you JoAnn for everything; the service went better than I could have ever imagined. Awesome customer service and thank you a million for staying later to make sure my grandmother’s funeral went smoothly. Highly recommend Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
I am sharing the review below on behalf of my mother, Dinah Maletsky.
“I am completely amazed by how JoAnn handled all of my mother’s funeral and burial arrangements. Even the month leading up to the funeral, she was nothing but professional and helpful. She coordinated everything, explained the process, and made sure the viewing/burial went well. She also communicated effectively by email and phone call to make sure we were looped in on everything.
When the day came, my mother looked beautiful. Everyone was impressed and commented on how she looked. The days of the viewing and burial went with no issues so my family and I were able to grieve the loss of my mother. I am very pleased with Bryan-Braker services and JoAnn Moore’s assistance.”“
“My 2 sisters and I had to lay to rest, our 90 year old father in June, 2024. Since my dad was living in a Memory Care Facility in Dixon, we chose McCune Garden Chapel in Dixon. My sister and I made an appointment with Vince to go over the funeral arrangements. Vince was so kind and sympathetic to us, and was extremely knowledgeable as well, as he has worked with this funeral home for years. Vince made it so easy for us to choose the things we needed to (type of plan we needed, a poem for the funeral program and the coffin we purchased). My dad was laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Vince has extensive knowledge about how the SVNC works and was able to give us very specific information about what to expect.
We decided not to have an open casket, but my sister and her husband wanted to see my dad since they hadn't been able to see him for a few months before he passed. Vince set up a time for us sisters and our families for viewing at their sister business, Milton Carpenter Funeral Home in Vacaville (where they keep deceased individuals before the funeral). We appreciated that Vince was so accommodating to our request. He met us there and was so kind.
I do want to mention, as well, that we did have one hiccup, but not from McCune or Milton Carpenter. I called Vince to tell him that my dad had passed and asked him if he had made a burial date with the Cemetery yet and Vince was so surprised because he never received notification that my dad was on his way to Milton Carpenter Funeral Home in Vacaville and he never showed up there either. Vince made several phone calls and found out that because Hospice had an incorrect name of the Funeral Home on my dad's paperwork, another Funeral Home in Folsom picked up my dad instead! Of course this was so upsetting, but Vince was very sympathetic, helpful and calm. So, instead of us having to pay additional $$ for the Funeral Home in Folsom to return my dad to Milton Carpenter Funeral Home, Vince said he knew the owners at the Folsom Funeral Home and had some business to take care of that day in Folsom, so Vince volunteered to bring back my dad to the correct Funeral Home, Milton Carpenter. We were so grateful to Vince for his generosity and extra time he took to remedy a problem that he or Milton Carpenter did not create.
We are beyond grateful for all McCune and Milton Carpenter Funeral Home has done for our family. The funeral went without a hitch because of this fabulous company!
Shelly Archer, and sisters.“
“I have never had to handle the passing of a loved one before. I had called almost all the other funeral homes in the area. When I called Alta Vista, the gentleman on the other end immediately put me at ease. He took the time to break down the pricing, and the required information. When my husband passed, the people who showed up to collect him handled his body with respect and dignity. I go to pick his remains up tomorrow and I have to say, I will confidently recommend them to anyone who needs final services.“
