After years of great work and reliable service, Ms. Irene lost a pair of new pants that I had left for hemming and refused to take responsibility until I brought a case in small claims court. I understand that things happen, but she put me off for weeks and wouldn't pay me back for the pants and the hemming work (pre-paid) until she had been served with the case.

Really terrible and shoddy work. She stated she’d be repairing something one way when I initially dropped off the item, then did it completely different. When I asked her about it, she denied ever mentioning it. Would not recommend.

This place is horrible. Irene charged me $100 to hem a dress and promised it would be done in one week. When I came this morning, she hadn't even started. She said to come back at 3 pm. Well, my husband came to get it at 3 pm and it still wasn't finished. She said to come back at 5 pm and maybe she would be done maybe not. (I need the dress for a trip and need it today.) She started complaining that the job was too big and she wouldn't have taken it if she had known. Which is a COMPLETE LIE because she spent about 20 minutes pinning the dress when I dropped it off and she knew EXACTLY how big of a job it was. Also why she charged me $100 for it.My husband demanded a refund and the dress and Irene was extremely rude to him, laughed at him, tried to refuse. He proceeded to get into an all out shouting match with this woman (which I heard over the phone) before she finally handed over the dress and the money.Three hours later and she had barely started working on it! She had started taking off the frill on the bottom and hadn't even finished that. NEVER coming back here. Irene is extremely rude and incompetent. If I could give zero stars I would.
