Studio City is the BEST Drybar. the stylists are fantastic and the management team really goes out of their way. I had an issue an issue with a package I had purchased and everyone from the front desk to the manager and regional manager moved mountains to get a positive resolution for me.
This is definitely the only location in LA i’ll go to from now on!
This was my first visit, I’ve been reluctant to patronize the DryBar simply due to their low ratings…And now I understand why they have such low ratings.
The person who was the front receptionist, or stylist filling in for that position was not the most friendly, or best representative of the company.
She was extremely rude to my friend.
My stylist was a bit awkward, and within the first 5-10 minutes, after a generic question from me about how long she had been there, turned it into a ‘political statement’…Which is a HUGE NO-NO.
She did an ok job, but didn’t really understand the assignment.

Customer upon arriving I wasn’t greeted by anyone. I waited for probably about a good two minutes and finally someone said “are you so-and-so?” Which I was not who ever the woman claimed I was. Then told me to have a seat.
1/5 Poor etiquette: who ever my stylist was started off the convo with “if you want to tip you can use my Venmo or Zelle” first off I’m in an industry where we earn our wage with tips. And NEVER do I tell someone to tip me BEFORE the service is over. She mentioned this 3 times to where I felt pressured to tip despite my distaste for the hair styling that cost $60.
Lastly my hair only lasted 2-3 hours before falling completely...read full review
