I'm currently battling cancer and I don't need the extra stress. However, through this journey, I'm finding that Kaiser staff lacks empathy, concern and bed side manner. I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing telephone appointment with Nurse Practitioner Maria Danette Infante Lopez. From the very beginning, the experience was a nightmare. My primary care physician is out on leave, so my phone appointment was rescheduled and canceled three times. Finally, I got an appointment with this practitioner. The appointment was supposed to be at 9:50 AM, but 10:15 AM rolled around, and I did not get a call. I called Kaiser to find out what was going on. When I called, I was transferred to the medical assistant of that department who told me the nurse practitioner had called in sick and all of her calls for the day were being canceled. While I was on the phone with her, someone else from Kaiser was trying to call me. When I told the medical assistant she told me not to answer because it was just someone calling to cancel my current appointment on behalf of the nurse practitioner. The medical assistant rescheduled me yet again for a later date. When I hung up the phone, I checked my messages, and it turned out to be the nurse practitioner who was calling. I called back immediately and was told that she would call me later. When she finally did call me, she called with attitude, no apologies, and told me that she had tried calling me three times and I did not answer. I explained to her everything, and she was still very upset. It was their office that caused all of the confusion in the first place! Her tone throughout the call was curt and dismissive. She did not seem interested in listening to my concerns or answering my questions thoroughly. Instead, she rushed through the appointment, making me feel like my health issues were not important, cutting me off several times. Moreover, her advice was vague and unhelpful. When I tried to ask for clarification, she became increasingly impatient and condescending. It was clear she did not have the time or willingness to address my needs properly. Overall, the lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by Maria Danette Infante Lopez was astonishing. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking a caring and competent healthcare provider. This experience left me feeling more stressed and anxious about my health than before the appointment.
Quality of care is lacking. Doctors add things to ur chart without ur knowledge. I believe I was vaccine injured there appears to be no help with this. Pain is dealt with as a mental health issue. Doctors are not in control of patients care. No long covid clinics.
If I could give NO stars or negative stars I most certainly would. This review is for Prenatal Care. I am pregnant with my 3rd child. First time ever going through Kaiser since this is what my job offers. This had by far been the worst prenatal experience I have gone through. I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and I have been having contractions etc. mind you I've been telling my obgyn dr Khalili, and not once have I been checked. I have been in extreme pain for 3 months now and the she won't put me on disability. She says "nothing is wrong" with me yet felt the need to modify my work schedule to make me work from home a few days out the week. I'm currently getting rashes all over my body and having severe itching. The pain is pins and needles. Skin is on fire and hives everywhere. I have been messaging my doctor and have not got a response back! These people don't even take urine samples! My two other pregnancies the drs took samples every visit to make sure nothing was detected. I'm near 1 month away from giving birth and my appointments have been once to 1 1/2 months apart! It literally feels like I have no prenatal care and I'm just pregnant without any help from a "specialist". Because of the horrible experience with this Dr and place I have been missing so much work. Never again will I go through Kaiser for anything. Let alone a pregnancy. This is exactly why I will be giving birth at St. Joseph's and not their S*** hospital. I cannot wait to switch from Kaiser to a different insurance.
