“I have been going to Jaein for about three months now for chronic abdominal pain,bloating, and horrible menstrual cramps surrounding my periods. Although there is an immediate calming effect I felt overall after the first session I didn’t start noticing a significant difference to my abdominal symptoms until after 4 sessions. I have notice a BIG difference in my menstrual cycles, less cramping, and bloating. I feel like the acupuncture has simply helped just balance my hormones overall. I also had prior surgeries that left me with chronic nerve sensitivity in my back which also has improved significantly since she has been working on my back as well. The place is really clean, quiet, and she wears a mask during the treatments which was also important for me. The room can get a little cold but she has been turning on the heater prior to my sessions since I brought it up to her which is nice. Overall, great experience so far being 3 months in.

“10 stars!!! Dr. Jeon is so so wonderful & a truly gifted acupuncturist/doctor. I started going to her 8 years ago & from the moment I walked in, I felt comfy & warmly welcomed, and still do! There's so much more that she does besides needles, which includes various other treatments based on what's going on with my body. Dr. Jeon can tell exactly what's going on with all my organs & pain areas just by feeling inside of wrist and ankle. This most recent visit, I walked in and was warmly greeted & given some tea (at the perfect temperature!), only had to wait a few minutes even though I was late for my appt, taken back to one of her super comfy treatment rooms, had quick talk about what's been bothering my body, then I laid down on treatment bed with the eye mask she put on me. I don't even ask anymore what treatments she's going to do, (she still tells me) I just fully trust her & her knowledge. Dr. Jeon placed the needles, attached these super advanced cupping cups (different than normal cupping,) heat pack on my stomach, red light therapy which also kept me warm, then off to sleep I always go. She lets me know she will be back to check on me in _ amount of minutes and she does! (And you're given like an alarm type thing to press in case you need her right away.) She comes back in, adds more needles etc. I have MS & have had 3 major spinal fusions, migraines, stress, nerve pain etc. and I always feel a significant improvement when I leave lasting for several days/weeks. I have been to other acupuncturists, and trust me, you will be very grateful that you went to her office. “I found i had two severely herniated discs in October 2023. My dr recommended surgery or acupuncture/ physical therapy. I chose acupuncture and physical therapy. The acupuncturist here was very thorough with her assessment and made sure she explained her process throughout. She used multiple methods and not just acupuncture to relieve my pain. I've been going to her regularly (initially weekly but then tapered down) since then and am happy to report the pain has completely gone away. “I've tried many many acupuncture places in Orange County (mostly Costa Mesa and Newport Beach areas). Overall, Dr.Reza Tafazoli has been my go to for the last several years.

I've had lots of muscle pain and nerve issues like Neck and Back Tightness, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, TOS surgery, and mild sciatica.

In All cases, the Dr Has been the overall best at treating these.

He offers various modalities including Acupuncture, ANS (electric stim for muscles/joints), cupping, and even Scar Tissue Therapy (mostly for post-op surgery healing).

Since I'm covered by insurance I generally get 50 minute sessions with as many modalities as I can, sometimes I go over 50 minute sessions if the Dr thinks I need the extra treament (many times I do).

But mostly importantly the Dr actually LISTENS and focuses on the areas I request in detail. Some acupuncture places basically ignore your "intake form" and do what they think is best, or might limit what they work on in a session.

On a minor note, he only has 1 other coworker: Nick, the guy who helps with scheduling, payment, and insurance benefits and negotiating. He's consistently been one of the most helpful front desk office guys I've worked with, making sure to stay communicative has he learns about how my insurance works with acupuncture and the different modalities.“
