I'll begin by saying I haven't had a cut from a barber since 2007, as I have been maintaining my grooming since then. I began cutting my own hair in the mid 90's. I'm no pro by any stretch, but I'm much better than decent. With that said, I'm preparing to get married and want my hair to be perfect. So I searched for shops near Spring Valley and found Fred' shop. I walked in on a whim on Thursday morning, and there was only 1 person ahead of me. The shop, the service, the vibe, the conversation... it all felt nostalgic! I instantly remembered how much MORE you get from a barbershop than simply a haircut. Fred and I discussed a wide range of topics, AND I got the cut I needed. This is definitely the type of shop and service you'd expect from a classic barbershop. I'll be back in a few weeks!

Great experience and a nice haircut. I came in, and Fred introduced himself with a firm handshake. Very welcoming guy. Fred did an amazing job with my lineup and a face trim for an affordable price. Just in time for Valentines. I will definitely be back for my next cut and recommend checking this place out.

Was in the area last weekend and was looking for a quick walk in to get my haircut. Was lucky to find Fred finishing up with another customer and welcomed me in. Perfect haircut at a fair price. Thanks Fred!
