Ive trained here with sensei Pat for several years now. Over that time ive really benefitted from his detailed teachings and his wide breadth of martial arts experience. Even a few years in im still learning new things from him and class is still physically a great workout. Id definitely recommend trying a class to anyone who is interested.

Awesome dojo for traditional karate and kobudo! Sensei Pat is a patient and detailed instructor, and I definitely feel challenged (in a good way) whenever I come to class. It's a really welcoming community, and a great place for students who are brand new, or coming with prior martial arts experiences.

Just did a class here tonight. Fantastic dojo. You start off with warm ups to get your blood going, followed by basics or "kihons" is what they're called I think, which is basic punches, kicks, and stances that you do from one side to the other and back. Then you go into partner drills using those basics switching off as the attacker and defender. Then you do forms (kata), and end with a few more core exercises. As a beginner I was welcomed with open arms, encouraged and helped by everyone here. It's a great learning environment and very family friendly. I highly recommend this dojo!
