C & J Roofing replaced the roof (extra work), had a lot of work on the garage (roof) along with new gutters at a home in Daly City. Every step from estimate to clean up was made easy for us by working with C & J Roofing Including the office staff.

I had a great experience with Coz regarding him putting in a bid to repair/replace our roof.After finding a leak in our roof I went through and contacted a contractor I found through looking for recommendations on Nextdoor. After they looked at our roof on Google Maps they told us the pitch was too steep for them, and provided a list of three contractors to call, with C&J on that list.Of the three C&J, and Coz specifically, were the most knowledgeable. Without prompting, by just looking at a satellite photo he was able to accurately guess the two spots on the roof where we had a current leak and problems in the past. He provided a realistic timeline for when he'd be able to make a basic repair, and also come out to fully replace the roof (it's about 30 years old...it's time). On the fly he then estimated what the cost of replacement would be, and it came in pretty much exactly where other contractors landed later. The guy clearly knows what he is doing, and understands the conditions and housing stock in the Bay Area. While he suggested that he was busy at the time (it's the start of the rainy season...pretty much every roofer is working during the full daylight hours right now) he checked in with me a week after our initial call to make sure I was being taken care of.At this point it looks like I am likely going to go with another contractor who is a sub for a GC I have working on other parts of my house, but even when I gave Coz this news he was thoughtful enough to provide me suggestions I should provide the other guy to make sure I get the job done right. If something should fall through with the other contractor I wouldn't hesitate to call C&J and schedule their team to come out.
