I had a really comforting and eye-opening experience here. She was compassionate and knowledgeable. I got answers and reassurance that western ( allopathic) medicine has not been able to give me.
I went to see Dr.Meng when I wasn't able to get an appointment through my insurance for the next 3 weeks and I'd been suffering for 5 days from pulling out my lower back lifting a piece of furniture. From lower back pain, it moved to my upper back/spine and caused me to have pain when inhaling deeply. I started to feel very worried and uncomfortable. Dr.Meng was so attentive and really cared about my treatment and recovery. I was able to see her the same day I called her. I got a cupping session + acupuncture. After my treatment, I knew I immediately felt better with the tension in my back. I still had some slight pain but nothing like I felt the morning before I saw her. The following day after getting some rest, the pain completely went away! I'm in awe and so grateful for the treatment. The chest pain, the difficulty breathing, everything is gone. I can confidently say I'm about 95% recovered. I highly recommend her as she is incredibly knowledgable, attentive, and skilled. I'll make another appointment with her and can't wait for it.
I really liked Dr Meng's style. She's very caring and patient. I had pain in my lower body after having a baby. Dr Meng tried different effective methods to help me heal. I would keep seeing her if I were still in CA. I highly recommend New Life acupuncture!
