I have been Nicole's patient since 2017. I am so happy to have found this office so close to home because I love it. The receptionists that are working the front desk are always nice and extremely helpful. I just love the environment that has been created here. It is obvious that Nicole and Jason work with care and love what they do which speaks volumes about their work ethic. I am 7 years post-stroke and I have to say that as a brain injury survivor, it is very hard to find a physical therapist that I can connect with. After various attempts to try and find a physical therapist that understood my physical deficits, I feel blessed to have found Nicole. What I like most about her is she makes our time worthwhile. She just takes one look at me and automatically knows how to put into context what it is I need to work on. Whenever I try to explain the things I am having most trouble with, she listens, analyzes and creates solutions to the problems I am facing. When I initially arrived at her office, my gait was completely abnormal, my core was weak, I was not moving my arms as I walked and I was barely taking 300 steps a day (just to name a few problems). As of today, my core is stronger, my upper extremities are almost back to normal and I am walking close to 8,000 steps a day! I feel that my walking pattern looks more normal and uniform. I am also more confident when I walk because now that I am stronger, the fear of falling has almost dissipated. Although I feel I still have a lot to work on because recovering from a stroke is a life-long process, I am happy because I have made huge strides thanks to the guidance and support I have received from Nicole. I will continue to see Nicole as long as I can because I just love her approach to maximizing one's potential of neuroplasticity, her ability to create efficient exercises and unconditional support. - Andrea
Dr. Cozby is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He has solved every issues I have brought to him thus far and solved it completely. He gave me the right exercises and explained the physiology behind them in a satisfying way. He is quick to respond to emails and responds with thoughtful replies. It's really clear with his work that he genuinely cares about his patients and that this is not just a business for him. Thanks Dr. Cosby!
I have a Traumatic Brain Injury from a vehicle vs pedestrian accident and Nicole Cozby is very knowledgeable and patient. She understands what I am trying to say when I explain my physical limitations and she listens, assesses, and then helps me with my issues. For me it is my gait. When I was looking for a physical therapist, I was happy to find Nicole Cozby as she has worked with the past Director of Rehab at CHLA where I was a patient - Dr. Montes, back in 2002. NeuroSport was also recommended to me by two friends who were Physical Therapy graduate students at USC (#1 in the nation) and have since graduated. Jason Cozby was one of their favorite instructors for the...read full review
