“I reached out to Ogi on Nextdoor to find and fix leaks in our roof. Ugo’s inspection was thorough, professional, and honest. Instead of trying to sell me a new roof, he discovered that the leaks were due to other parts of the roof (exposed exterior beams, chimney flashing in disrepair). He explained everything fully, gave me a detailed estimate and scope of work, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Based on the heavy rains we had a few days later, everything was completed to a “T”! “I am very happy with my new kitchen, and I have Alex and his team at Kitchen By Design to thank for it. It was by chance I happened upon their store while visiting Sherman Williams next door for exterior paint. I stopped by unannounced and was warmly welcomed. Alex said he would come to my home the following day to take measurements. True to his word, he showed up on time, and within a day or two showed me a layout with a cost estimate that was within my budget, along with outlining the scope of work and writing up a contract. The estimated project time was three and a half weeks. I signed on the bottom line and the work began the following week. Alex was great to work with and was professional, and responsive to any of my questions or concerns. By having a storefront with an assortment of good quality, cabinets, tile, fixtures and fittings to choose from, I felt more comfortable working with Kitchen By Design vs other contractors that showed up at my home in a truck with a tape measure, notepad and a pencil behind one ear. Given I was not able to be on-site the entire time, technology played a huge part in keeping the project on track. Alex kept me up to date with progress. He got input from me when necessary, and the project completed on time. When I walk into my new kitchen, I still can't believe it's finished. “We were referred to John Petti at Accurate Builders & Repair by our realtor when we bought our house 4 years ago. We were finally ready to embark on a kitchen renovation Fall 2019 and he was one of the contractors we sought out for a bid. After meeting with him and getting his estimate, we decided that he was the best fit for our needs. His price was fair and we liked his personality. We picked correctly! John and his crew did an amazing job. In addition to a major kitchen renovation, we refinished our floors in the entire house, repainted the interior of the house, and replaced/added/rewired all the lighting in the house. John also re-piped our home and repaired our leaky roof! We had so many projects going on at the same time and he was able to manage and time all of them professionally and successfully. John was always very communicative and easily accessible by phone/text/email. His crew has fantastic work ethic...they were always at the house when they said they would be and I always felt comfortable around them. “We finished a large remodel of our house with Tal and the LA Remodeling team in February of 2022 and could not be any happier with the results and the entire experience. Our house was built in 1935 and we wanted to open the space up by adding a small amount of new square footage and also refresh and update the entire house. Tal was a great partner and delivered a final product that exceeded our expectations and was delivered on time and on budget.There are a few areas where Tal and his team really excelled. Tal's communication and responsiveness over the course of the project were fantastic. He responded very quickly to texts and emails and actually answered his phone when I called. Any time an unforeseen issue came up he contacted us immediately so we could find a solution promptly.Throughout the process, Tal was very conscious of our budget and was able to deliver on our plan at the budget we agreed upon. In the instances where we did adjust the budget it was driven by our decision to make a change or upgrade to the original plan. Tal was great about presenting options in these scenarios to help us make decisions.Both the speed and quality of his work were exceptional as well. One of the most valuable assets that Tal brought to our project was his team. His crews were always ready and available to do their portion of a project very quickly. There was never a time when we were waiting on his team for any work. Any delays we experienced were related to broader supply chain issues (order your windows and doors early!). “I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“

“By far THE BEST experience my family has had when it comes to working with contractors. From the first time meeting with Fabiola and Cesar when getting the estimate/quote up until the project was completed... it was such a smooth and stress free experience.

A kitchen and living room renovation has been in discussion for some time and it was just a matter of finding the right company for the job. We've had some eh experiences with prior contractors with projects at the house so it left an impression that kept us hesitant to look. This was not the case with Conber.

During the estimate they gave their suggestion as to what would work as far as what my wife was envisioning. They were very organized from the start. Taking measurements, writing notes, really going in depth as far as the project was concerned. Fabiola and Cesar answers all our questions and suggested what would work and what wouldn't and approximately how long it would take. We've told them our previous experience where the time took so much longer for whet was actually done. They said our renovation would be done it approx 6 weeks. Our previous renovation that was completed took 6 months and it was much smaller than the task we presented to Conber ! So you better believe we wanted to hire Fabiola and Cesar's company .

They got back to us with the quote very quick and then we went from there.

Fast forward to start of demolition..

The staff that Conber had working were so good! The timeliness, organization, and cleanliness of the job were on point! They said they'll be there at a certain time, they were there way before said time. They kept the demo mess where it belonged and it didn't find its way into places it didn't need to be.

The next step after the demolition was no different. They continued to be organized and efficient and always showed up in a timely fashion. We appreciated the fact that we knew what time to expect them and what time their end of day was. And it was always consistent unless we were notified. Which is a huge plus to me.

Another game changer was the fact that either Fabiola or Cesar would show up in the morning and at end of the working day to check on progress. That showed me that the project was just as important to them as it was to us. They also were just a phone call or text away so reaching them was never an issue.

Don't want the review to be much longer than it is already but the end product was nothing short of amazing. They gave a new life to the house. Everyone is so happy with the finished product. The only bad part of it all is that we won't be seeing Fabiola, Cesar, and the crew daily, it was something my daughter got used to.

To sum it all up we are glad we went chose Comber and we will not hesitate to reach out to them again for future projects. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for home projects.
