“I visited a friend in Sonora recently, was having pain in my back, and at the recommendation of my friend had a massage with Ms. Padovan. I don't often indulge in massage, and partly this is because I'm picky; I'm somewhat shy and don't always feel comfortable being naked with strangers, even covered with a sheet. I know, I know... But, part of why I'm giving Teresa Padovan 5 stars is because she makes you feel so comfortable with her, right from the start. She's warm and personable, yet unmistakably professional. And, I have to say, I've never enjoyed a massage more. She was very effective in eliminating not just the pain from the sore muscles, but zeroed in on the source, which (never fails to amaze me) was some distance from the place that hurt. She seems to be very knowledgeable and has, as a bonus, a great sense of humor. I was amazed at how reasonably priced the massage was, too. Of course, that may be the difference from the Bay area and Sonora, but still. I highly recommend her.“

“I don’t normally review, but these are hard-working, ladies and gentlemen. I can’t believe these reviews about the tip. Somebody is touching your body for 30 or 60 minutes, and you’re not going to tip them? A waiter takes your order and somebody else brings your food out and somebody else makes your food and you tip that person 15 or $20 without batting an eye. Give these guys a break, they do a low cost massage up on the mountain and they give you hard pressure which is tough on their bodies. Quit griping about three bucks.“
