I'm writing to recommend a local contractor because we know how hard it is to find skilled/reliable contractors who can be trusted. We highly recommend Jeff Harris [Harris Builders]. We had a number of unconventional projects we needed help with, and he has all the attributes we were looking for in a contractor: very experienced, conscientious, takes pride in his work, dependable, easy to communicate with, and willing to tackle projects that require attention to detail, and THINKING! He tuned-up our gates and/or rebuilt them, did a privacy panel & gate project [see pics], and tuned-up a patio cover that another contractor messed up. He's now working on a project to cover unsightly pond equipment [see pic], & we're not done with him yet!

Jeff recently replaced our backyard fencing. Jeff is a professional who takes pride in doing his work well. He kept us posted as to the status of when the job would be started and completed. I highly recommend Jeff Harris.

We had a horrible wind & half of my 10' gate came down. The supporting post also cracked. Jeff responded to my phone message immediately. He re-engineered the gate a bit so it is sturdier, kept to his timeline & original estimate & it all turned out perfectly. Thank you!
