Solana Beach Physical Therapy

I cannot speak highly enough about the care I have recently received from Solana Beach Physical Therapy. Specifically, I have been working with Joanne, who is the owner of the business in addition to being a compassionate and highly effective clinician. I recently had a total knee replacement and had a very difficult time finding a therapist that my insurance would cover AND one who had the skills and compassion to facilitate my recovery. Within four days she improved my flexion from 83 degrees to over 120 degrees, which is the goal of treatment (!). She managed to achieve this through a combination of Eastern and Western techniques (e.g., cupping, e-stim, ultrasound etc). And what I really liked about her approach was that she met you where you are at, not following some tired agenda of a few exercises. Her treatment plan was new each and every session, tailored to your needs, progress, and pain threshold. She did a wonderful job explaining the various exercises and interventions, and was always very supportive and encouraging. From my perspective, she was simply godsend!!

I have had pelvis pain for the past couple of years and work with different PT. Joanne does a great job of combining of Massage and Physical. The team is very motivated and knowledgeable to help the folks in need.

Several weeks ago, I inexplicably sustained an injury to my right thigh that caused me severe pain in this area after gallbladder surgery. Postoperatively, I was unable to put any weight on my right leg---thereby making it impossible to walk without the use of a walker. I decided to seek Physiotherapy and thankfully picked SBPT which was 8 minutes from my home. On the very first visit, Joanna, the owner met me and gave me 90 minutes of "hands on " treatment of my affected area with almost all the modalities in her armamentarium .
