“I was able to get an appointment just days after being diagnosed with melanoma. The entire time I was in the office was a great experience considering. Breanna was the assistant and was great; she took the time to answer my questions and let me know what would be going on. I only waited a couple minutes before Dr. Venkat came in and was also very professional and put me at ease. The procedure was as painless as can be expected and Dr. Venkat provided all the needed information. On the way out, Debbie was very helpful in making a follow-up appointment for me at another office closer to my house, as well as an appointment for a check-up at yet another office. Thanks for making this unfortunate experience as pleasant as could be expected.“

I've trusted him with my life and health from his early days with Sharp in the Miramar area, until now. You will not find a better provider in San Diego! It is mind boggling that people question integrity of these reviews.... also, Mr Kojima's academic title plays zero role in his Dermatology expertise. Absolute nonsense to question his credentials like that.
UPDATE NOV 2024 - I had my twice a year check up with Juan Kojima, where once again did his magic, detected a small but ominous looking abnormality, removed and sent to the lab. The lab confirmed his suspicion BUT also confirmed it was superficial, did not spread. It was caught and removed early. Mr Kojima followed up per protocol and did a subsequent excision, saving one more patient. This is what he does on a daily basis, all in a confident and reassuring way. My PSA is this - schedule your exam and screening with Mr Kojima and that might just save your life. Simple and no exaggeration.“

“Dr. Woodall is amazing! I went in to see her to have a bump that had been growing on my forehead looked at. After a thorough exam, she was able to surgically and carefully remove the spot and now 10 days later there is absolutely no scarring or any sign that there was ever anything there! I also received some Botox that was so carefully placed that over Christmas my family kept asking why I looked so youthful but no one had any idea what was done. Just the way I like it!! Will definitely be coming back for all my skin care needs :-)“
