“I was breaking out for over 6 months, never in my teenage years have I dealt with acne. Dermatologist never gave me an answer as to why I was breaking out. Each different derm would say it was either dermatitis or acne, recommending me steroids creams & acne solutions causing it to better or worsen but never fully going away. I gave up on trying such strong creams as my skin was becoming more irritated from this due to my sensitivity. I came to the solution to get a facial done, and I've never been more relieved with my skin since. “This review is long overdue. I originally found Peony Healings & Spa's business card through a vegan restaurant in 2022 since I was looking for vegan facials. I'm picky when it comes to skincare/ beauty treatments. I'm all about the fancy life, and Huong's facials are the best. She knows how to treat stubborn spots like no other. I went two times to get a (much more expensive!) Hydrafacial in a different spa next to my house, but they were ineffective against the one big whitehead I had. Huong got the stubborn whitehead out in one facial and with minimal discomfort. After a facial from Huong, my skin is glowing, and I get so many compliments. She even noticeably lightened up my brown spots (which hadn't noticeably changed after three Clear + Brilliant laser treatment$$$). Huong works hard through the entire facial. While she lets product sit on your skin, she stays busy massaging your arms/legs. The environment is welcoming. I love the warm bed and calming background music. Her prices are reasonable too, and she offers discounted packages of 5. Huong is a sweet person with a calming presence and voice. She's a good listener and never pushy about buying more products or services. I appreciate that she doesn't try to rush me into or out of the room. She also doesn't ask me to leave her reviews. :) My now-fiancé thoroughly enjoyed our couples massages here, especially with Leila. (I'm not that big on massages.) I've sent my mom and my little cousin for facials, and they were both super impressed - especially my little cousin who struggles with acne. Now I'm sending my sister and my aunt too - I'm sure they will also love it.“
