I’ve just moved to the Redding area from Southern California and have struggled for the last year. I’ve been hoping to find the sort of compassionate relationship that I had in my Vet down south. Everything starts here with a higher bill than I have ever had with any vets down south and I don’t understand the reasoning since the average income here is lower but nonetheless, you have no choice. And then what about having to wait for three weeks when your dog has a problem now to get Even to see Vet best case scenario two weeks. The only place you can go in town is ASHER if you don’t have an appointment And that’s a wonderful opportunity, but the prices are high compared to LA and there are so many vets working there that you never get to see the same person twice it seems like. I have nothing bad to say about the vets at ASHER, but there is an impersonal approach. It’s money driven. It’s VCA after all and I’ve been longing for what I found today at the veterinary clinic in SHINGLETOWN. I highly recommend this vet. it’s worth your time for a little bit more of a drive because I promise you if you go anywhere else you will spend that extra time just sitting in a waiting room here I was taking immediately maybe seven minutes after walking through the door and then the attention that I got from the doctor, like he honestly cared he was compassionate. He answered my questions was just very special. I can’t say enough. I feel it’s worth every minute extra driving time to go find a vet like this. I am a true fan from now on. Did I mention I was able to get an appointment within a couple days. I could’ve even seen them day of.
I highly recommend Shingletown Medical Center for your medical care. They have providers and staff that care about their patients and go the extra mile to take care of us. I have small kids that often need same day care and they are almost always able to accommodate. I'm grateful to them for all they do for our community and beyond.
