I had purchased my blinds years ago and the company I had purchased from is no longer in business. I searched Hunter Douglas blinds and came across Cambridge Flooring Design in Cameron Park. I took my broken part in and talked to Letha who passed the information on to Jennifer. A week later I have my part and the Vertiglide is working like new. When it comes time to replace my flooring or window coverings I now have a place to go. Thanks again“

“All I can say is WOW! I contacted Guy to see what could be done with the 30-some year old oak flooring in the home we recently moved into. The floors were well worn and had some serious dirt embedded in them. Guy arrived on schedule at the appointed time, inspected, and measured quickly. He knew exactly what the flooring was - to our amazement, he identified it (correctly!) as a laminated hardwood from Sweden. Who knew? Guy did! He spent some time with us going over our options and felt confident it could be re-finished without replacing it, saving us big $$. He showed us various finish options and initially recommended Rubio Monocoat since we have dogs running around the house. All of this at a reasonable price. After agreeing, we picked a color, and Guy offered to come over and do a "spot test" before he got started so we could be sure of the color. Thank goodness he did that, as a week later on the day he and his son Derek came over to move furniture, he was surprised how dirty it had become already. He then mentioned that we may want to go with a urethane and gave us some wood samples of both coatings so we could "stress test" them both. It turns out the urethane was the better option for our situation since our home (formerly a working cattle ranch) is surrounded by dirt. We got to come back a couple of times during the week to see the progress, and everything was always meticulous, organized, and, most importantly, clean! When we got to return after the curing period, we were stunned by the new floor appearance! My wife literally had tears in her eyes! You'd never know this was not a new install! Guy and Derek were even able to mill some new slats to replace some loose and missing pieces. You'd never know they are replacement pieces! I really can't speak any more highly of their craftsmanship. True professionals! Not only that, but they are genuinely nice and helpful folks! Guy is a second-generation floor specialist, and Derek is right behind him! You will not be disappointed if you choose to work with Guy and Derek! We are super pleased and I'm sure you will be too! I am attaching some before/after pics, but unfortunately I did not get shots of the two worst areas . . .“
