From my experience interning at this company over my summer break, I can say the people at HMSI are friendly and genuinely care about helping their customers as much as possible. The owner is very open to giving advice on how to reach new customers through direct mail, and I've enjoyed my experience in applying some of his techniques to online marketing. They generally prefer to create a personal bond with their customers either over the phone or in-person, but with today's businesses relying on the internet more and more each day, I came on to help expand HMSI's small online presence. The customers are generally secretive about HMSI to not lose their marketing advantage over competitors, so it has been tricky to build an online reputation, but if I owned my own business, I'd give them a chance. They know their specific area of marketing very well, and, in my opinion, they're all good people.

Here at Mulholland Security in Studio City we dealt with them for about 15 years. We never had an issue, we use to pick up the labels every Friday and at no time had a delay. The message you give the New Home Owners through the mailer you do is very significant and in a sluggish market things don't always work as well but they still do so be aware since you do have to sign an agreement that you have to honor unless you may pay more every month and work with out a year long agreement. Over all I am convinced that they are an honorable business who cares and likes to play fair.
