This company responded to my request promptly and then things deteriorated. First, he arrived 2 hours late for the initial inspection. Second, the day he was to come early he did not show up or call the first hour and it took my calls to him to find out he was again going to be over 1.5 hours late. We set it for the next day.On the third try he was to come at 10:00 am and showed up at 8:00 a.m.He was to do two things. Use carpet we had to replace two areas and install carpet in a closet. He did use the carpet we had but did not tell me the dye lot was not exactly the same. Had he done so I would have had him pull carpet from the master bedroom which had the identical dye color and use the left over carpet in that closet. Instead we now have two areas that are clearly not the same dye lot and have to be replaced again.Additionally, you can now see the seems despite his claim that the prior company did not know what they were doing. Before his work the seems were invisible which is important in a hallway.Next he was to have someone clean two areas where we had a dog vomit. While it looked passable righter cleaning, the next day it became apparent that the stains were exactly as they were before they were Finally I asked him for a quote for refinishing newly installed flooring. His quote came in over $3,000 higher than anyone even after I showed him the quote from the prior flooring person.Not only would I not use this person at all, but now I am suing him for a refund of the $900.00 I paid him and I still have to have someone redo the work he did. Frankly I should have known better when he did nothing but downgrade other companies and stressed his long years of experience. Additionally he kept repeating over and over how he was going to do the refinishing when I told him I had done this before, new the process and knew what I expected from a flooring person.
