“On a whim I called in to schedule a possible acupuncture appointment while experiencing some very weird body and mind sensations. I was blown away at the care, compassion and understanding I was given by Derek over the phone. He was able to pinpoint immediately the psychological and physical issues that I was experiencing (and what was causing them), and guided me over the phone to what I needed to immediately stop doing - which was what my intuition was telling me but needed to hear from someone. Without me even telling him too many specifics he could understand and empathize with my issue. I couldn't believe the attention, patience and kindness I was given. Better than any doctor, psychologist or ER visit. He helped save my sanity during an awkward terrifying moment and I am so grateful for the gift of healing he gave me. I have been to this clinic in the past for migraines and it's a lovely spot. “Truthfully, it is difficult to explain the impact that Chase Desso’s Acupuncture practice has had on my life - and in such a a short time.I came to Chase with considerable nerve and muscle pain, primarily caused by degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine, from a former career in contact sports. I have been in pain for several years, with the last 7 months or so becoming unbearable. I had essentially given up any hope that I would ever be able to be active again, and that a fusion of my c-spine would be my only option. However, that is no longer the case.After seeing Chase, I can see light at the end of the tunnel again. I am actually improving. I am in less pain than when I started. I am able to sleep. I am able to PT. Most importantly, I am able to be an active father to my young children.
