“We're not a patient of this office but Boy! Were they a lifesaver. We were visiting Monterey for family vacation when my daughter forgot her orthoK hard lens plunger remover. I knew none of the cvs and walgreen would carry something like this in store since it's pretty niche, so we called this office since it was closest to the embassy suite we are staying at. I was thinking, maybe they would not have it however, to our surprise, they had it in stock. Called in advance, and the ladies at the front desk was super helpful. They were very professional and very helpful. I would totally recommend this office.“

“Ive been coming to this office for years and there are constants that cant be ignored, the first being the friendly staff. Seemingly, everyone affiliated with this office ensures they go out of their way to assist you. Secondly, the quality, skill level and insight of all three of the doctors is unparalleled. The only knock I would have on this place is that they are devoid of an extensive selection of frames. Aside from the selection, this is an exceedingly impressive office.“

“I want to counter the really pretty awful string of reviews about Doctor Friedman. Granted he isn't very warm or touchy-feely, but he is intelligent and professional and he answered all of my questions at length - he was very prompt. But you have to be prepared to ask those questions. If you don't ask, he won't volunteer- he's not a natural teacher. The office was humming along on time, the front office was very courteous, efficient and friendly. That may have been the trouble in the past - as doctors are sometimes judged on how well the front office is functioning, which is obviously a mistake.. If the front office is dysfunctional, the doctors are judged on this despite their professional abilities. That's a shame. Granted, I didn't have any surgical procedures done today, but he did efficiently address my medical issues and as I said answered all my questions. He also takes Medicare.“

“This 5 star review is long overdue, and it goes out to Myrna Horton and everyone else in the business office at the Gourley outpatient clinic in Marina. They have always been there for me, especially Myrna, who has answered all of my questions and assisted me and many other veterans in an effort to help us in any way that she possibly can to the very best of her ability. Her dedication to helping veterans with their VA needs is evident in every interaction. Myrna Horton is a good person. The VA and all of us veterans are fortunate to have her. The VA is not just about doctors and nurses. Where would they be and where would we be without people like Myrna and all of the people in the business office? They owe me no thanks for my service. It's me that owes them a heartfelt thank you for their service to all veterans.“

“I put off seeing an eye doc for a long time. When I finally walked in to make an appointment, I was seen right away. The staff was very helpful and polite. One woman impressed me very much with her bilingual skills (Spanish and English.) I could not tell which language was her first language. I have not been to a place of business in a long time where EVERYONE was professional and helpful. Their demeanor helped put me at ease. The opthalmologist and staff were very accommodating and helpful with my concerns and questions. Thank you very much! Keep up the good work!“
