We just moved to Santa Cruz and had issues in the new condo, someone recommended George Allen & Sons and it was an awesome recommendation.
I called and they were super helpful to schedule and prompt on the appointment. Mike was the plumber who came and did a great job replacing a kitchen faucet. Then this week week we had a different issue and once again they were awesome to schedule the visit and Mike came and took care of the issue in the bathroom. He had the right parts to replace and was super profesional and dedicated. A pleasure to work with this company from the call to the office to the results of their services.
I've always used George Allen. A year ago they replaced my long time water pressure regulator, which had failed. Inexplicably, the brand new Watts regulator they installed gradually stopped working properly after just one year. I called them, and Tyler came right out. He determined that the regulator was defective and ordered a new one.When that one arrived a few days later, they immediately came out with it. Before installing the replacement, the tech partially disassembled the poorly functioning regulator to see if it were clogged with debris. We got off to a bit of a rough start but our four plumbing issues were handled quickly. John is experienced and was able to explain what needed to be done and why. He repaired a leaky disposal, a broken outdoor faucet, got the bath sink running again and stopped the toilet from running continuously. I am very happy with the work done and I will use this company again.
