Non toxic, odorless cleaners, all work done on the premises. Professional quality alterations done too. Very lucky to have them in Scotts Valley.

My fiancé and I decided we should take dance classes before our wedding since neither of us are remotely good dancers. Neither of us had particularly high expectations - we just wanted our first dance to be as not awkward as possible.Enter Whitney at Palomar Ballroom! We signed up for the 5 class "Wedding Package" and ended up adding another 2 classes because we were having so much fun. Whitney is a phenomenal teacher, answering questions from us that started out as basic as "how do I know where the beat of the song is". She also made each class so fun and lighthearted. We started out thinking we would keep our first dance as short as possible. By the end, we had a fully choreographed dance to a 4 minute song!I can't recommend Whitney and Palomar Ballroom enough!

I decided to try this place at least twice before rating it as in the past shoe repair places are hit and miss with quality.This place gets a 5 star as it has done consistent quality work. My first visit was to have my dress shoes re-soled and amazing work with new leather soles (not rubber) and cleaned and shined to boot!The second was just some new soles on my boots and again amazing work with a polish included!I will be back ?
Great teachers and community. Our 4y old son is enrolled in their "little dragons" program, and he has shown tremendous growth in confidence and ability to listen. They set a great pace of activities with instructions and levels for the little ones. Very happy we discovered Innovative Martial Arts!
Dragon Martial arts is relatively new and is a gem that people might miss. Located in the same lot as Kings Paints, this martial arts studio has been a great place to send the kids on Saturday morning while I visit the farmers market just down the street. He's also open after school 4 to 6(?), I'm not sure when the last class starts; but it's a great activity for my son between homework and dinner.Master Will is a fantastic teacher. He's kind, patient, supportive, and great with kids. His school is open to all ages; during my visits it's been mostly kids. I know that Master Will has grown up around here and, being a local, he understands our community.Martial arts has been a wonderful exercise that teaches discipline and gives my kids something to work towards! If you have the opportunity, I'd recommend you give it a shot. The first class is free so it's worth checking out.

She has great attention to detail and is very knowledgeable and informative. I appreciate her advice for after care and making sure that the services we do are appropriate for my skin. We wanted two paved areas joined by a walkway, as well a system of gravel paths around the periphery of the garden. Dave listened carefully to what we wanted and made suggestions that enhanced the beauty and durability of the work. His meticulous attention to detail shone throughout the finished paving. The project was completed on time and within budget. He and his workers showed up on time and left the property tidy at the end of each day. Needless to say, we're very happy with the results and would definitely hire him again!

Cookie is an excellent hair technician and she made me an appointment for yesterday, the day after I called. I always wait until the last minute so I appreciated that she accommodated me. I only requested a style for an event last night, but she noticed I was also overdue for a trim. My cut was precise and everyone told me it looks great! I also noticed that she is very warm and respectful with her senior customers (like me!) Thank you Cookie! You're a great cutter!
Always a consistently good cut! Quick and often takes me on short notice. I love Eric's salon. Never talks too much but tells it like it is. One time I saw one of his regulars show up for a quick, emergency touch-up as I was sitting down. Eric accommodated him without complaint and without charge.

First time visit and Charles did a great job in just 15 minutes. Cut was well even and shaped very well. Will be back as Felton CA has no barber shops these days. Interesting small shopping center with a history. Camp Evers as It was called in the 1950's was the place the Pearless bus stopped from Oakland then on to Santa Cruz. The inside has rich wood like going back to that time era. So much better then going to a cheap franchise fast cut place with no place to park with un skilled foreign barbers that don't speak much English. Charles has style and It shows in his hair work.
I like their walk in service, and they open for 7 days. It's convenient! My son and husband go there for their haircuts, and they usually get nice service.

I cannot rave about Vienna enough. If you have curly hair, she is the one to go to. I haven't met a hairdresser who is as mindful about attention to detail as she is. I've been going to her for about 1.5/2 years now, and I can't imagine going to anyone else.

Our water heater died on a Saturday. We called and they came out quickly, got us a quote, and got us a new water heater same day. A little bit more expensive than competitors but their speed couldn’t be beat.
I've always used George Allen. A year ago they replaced my long time water pressure regulator, which had failed. Inexplicably, the brand new Watts regulator they installed gradually stopped working properly after just one year. I called them, and Tyler came right out. He determined that the regulator was defective and ordered a new one.When that one arrived a few days later, they immediately came out with it. Before installing the replacement, the tech partially disassembled the poorly functioning regulator to see if it were clogged with debris. It wasn't, so he installed the replacement, which works perfectly now. These regulators typically last for many years, so I should be all set now.Notably, this was called a warranty repair, so there were no charges for the part or labor. The company stands behind their work and products. Very happy with this company and will always use them in the future.Service: Outdoor plumbing system repair

We found a young kitten in bad shape and in desperate need of medical care. We were able to get a same day appointment. The front room staff was so kind and caring when I was emotional and crying.
The vet (and his assistant?) took great care of the little kitten. The kitten was in rough shape. I was concerned he would die or lose his eyes. The vet treated the kitten swiftly.
It has been almost a week and you wouldn't even recognize the kitten. He is gaining weight and recovering well. He will return for a second visit this week.
I was also surprised the bill wasn't higher. It is definitely much more affordable than the emergency vet. If this vet wasn't able to see the kitten the same day, we would have gone to an emergency vet, which would have been at least 4 times more expensive.
Dr. McConnell (Ty) and his team are the best of the best! We rescue seniors dogs. They often come with multiple medical issues. I don’t trust anyone else with my dogs than Ty. We have been with him for over 5 years. He was Ames amazing care of our furry kids. His team is beyond amazing! We highly recommend McConnell vet services! Your pets will thank you ?
I went here with my family to get a second opinion about my dogs situation and this place was so great and gave us hope and options. We have been here before in the past for my dogs and cats i’m pretty sure but since then we moved to san jose and we made the drive down here just because this place is so great. My 14 year old black lab was really old and he started growing huge tumors on the side of his abdomen. This place gave us the option to surgically remove it and we were more than happy to do that since the last place just told us to put down the dog (we really wanted it removed). Long story short, we found out that this tumor was more cancerous and would spread really fast and his recovery would be 50/50 chance of him surviving. we decided that day during surgery that we should go ahead and put our old doggy down since he was already asleep and we didn’t want further complications to where it injured him. But the way this place handled things was amazing. i asked if i could see him before he was put down and I was so happy i was able to be there for my doggy as he went to sleep. (some vet places don’t let you be in the same room of when they put down your dog because it’s a policy thing but im soo happy i could see him before.) They laid out blankets and candles and gave us a button doorbell to push when we were ready to put him down so it would let the staff know. they gave us all the time we needed with him and we were really grateful of that. I had a small favor to ask and that was to take some pieces of hair and whiskers off my doggy to keep since i also have hair of my other old doggy that passed away years ago and they were more than happy to do that for us. driving home for us was the hardest part because it’s the quietest and most sad car ride knowing your dog isn’t in the back seat wagging its tail and that dog won’t be coming home with you. But a week or 2 later. we got a handwritten card in the mail from this place with a stamp of my doggy’s foot print and that made me burst out in tears. I’m so happy to have this card to remember my childhood dog. Thank you Scott’s Valley Veterinary Clinic. My family truly appreciates the doctor and the whole staff. Even though i didn’t get to take home my doggy in the end, you guys showed love and compassion and we appreciate that.

Empowering Hands has the best massage therapists. I have been going there for a couple of years and highly recommended them for their professionalism, the atmosphere, and convenient location.
There a lot of massage places around, but it is difficult to find one that does a good job, and does it consistently. The folks at Hygge are doing it right! It is a nice, clean and relaxing environment, and their massage therapists do a great job every time. Need to work those knots out? Or just stressed out from your day? I highly recommend this place to fix you right up!

I have been a happy customer over 5 years. When I have pain from over doing it at the gym or back pain this is where I go. Normally I don't like deep tissue work, but they fix problems with the appropriate pressure. It is clean, but not fancy. This is the best deal in town.

Solis helped me gain strength and energy after my chemotherapy treatments. Jenny recommended vitamins and herbs as well as targeted Accupuncture and message that help with my recovery and allow me to sleep better.
