Denali Building Improvements laid down the bamboo flooring for one of our large, new rooms. The job was tricky because the floor had to blend with the one in the adjacent room, which is a few inches higher. We didn't want a step because we worried that the kids would trip when walking from one room to the next. The guys did an incredible job, creating a gradual ramp between the two spaces and linking the flooring in the two rooms seamlessly. The floors look great and the difference is not even noticeable! We are grateful and will most definitely reach out with future projects!“

“Elmer and his team spruced up my vintage, quirky apartment with a variety of professional repairs: replacing a clawfoot tub drain & old light dimmer switch, painting and plastering, installing a new garbage disposal, and fixing heavy wooden pocket doors. They were timely and courteous about contacting us with ETAs. And he sent photos as the work progressed. Since we found more issues to repair (all were necessary & overdue), one day of work expanded into 3 so it was a bit more expensive than I planned. “Seb was our go-to handy person for every problem for years. He was our first line of defense for plumbing, pest control, home projects, lighting fixtures, picture hanging, wallpapering, small repairs -- you name it, he could tackle it, fix it, or tell you honestly that you needed a specialist. Even for smaller projects like hanging a gallery wall, he was incredibly detail oriented (measuring everything precisely, taking great care in the end product) and he was extra careful of my two young children at home, taking additional safety precautions (e.g., thinking about little fingers or climbing children) without me asking. He _always_ cleaned up after himself, which I felt was a nice touch (he didn't leave dust or dirt on the ground after a project, which other repair people sometimes would) and I could trust him in my home without supervising. He's an all around good person, who takes pride in his work and enjoys working with people. Now that we've moved out of the city, I'm going to really miss my go-to handyman!“

“Guillermo and his team did a fantastic job on their move-out deep clean of my apartment. They handled everything from buffing the floors, touching up the wall paint, replacing missing lightbulbs, and getting rid of trash. It was extremely extensive and professional. Would definitely hire them again!“

“Dependable and great work at a fair price. Very punctual. Roman said he'd arrive between 10 and 11AM, and R&D appeared a few minutes before 10! Initially, Roman felt his ladder was too short to reach the awning we wanted removed, but he kept looking and thinking about how the job could be done. And sure enough, he got it done in less than two hours! We had another handyman, who had offered to do the work for $650, which is less than what R&D charged, but that handyman didn't have insurance for what was a somewhat risky job. Handyman Heroes came and raised their estimate from $600 to $4,500, saying they needed two guys to work 8 hours and rent a scaffold and pay to dispose the fabric somewhere!!!“
