This hotel was excellent! Our room was great with the patio outside as well. We had a great view and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient to get breakfast next door at Poggio's. I would highly recommend the Casa Madrona.
Perfect location for a stay in Mendocino. Central to all the businesses - walkable to everything. Easy to catch the ferry to SF. Easy to catch the bus to Muir Woods. Valet service made it easy to have a car also available. So many good restaurants within easy walking distance.
Rooms: Beautiful room. Very comfortable. Worth upgrading to the harbor view. We sat on our balcony with the view each morning with our coffee, and each evening while relaxing before dinner.
Nearby activities: Shopping, restaurants are nearby. The ferry is nearby.

Great location and spacious and well maintained rooms. Also thoroughly enjoyed my massage. The staff were very attentive and friendly. There were lots of stairs so it was not the most stroller friendly, but they compensate with a car service to your room and help unloading. We will definitely be back in the future.
