Lollipop Cuts for Kids offers fast and thorough haircuts for children. The stylist is experienced and skilled, resulting in great styles. Many parents appreciate how Annie listens to their requests and performs her magic, ensuring they are always happy with the cut. While some children may find the stylist's approach not gentle enough, others have had positive experiences with her patience and care. The business provides nice touches, such as a first haircut certificate. Parents have noted that this family-owned barber specializes in kids' haircuts and did exactly what was asked, like the Psudo Mohawk, which was refreshing. Parents have been satisfied with the service and style, with the cost being very reasonable. Note that they only accept cash or Venmo, so plan accordingly. Overall, this place is so wonderful that some kids never want to leave, enjoying unique experiences like riding a horse while getting their haircut.
Annie listens to what I want then does her magic. I’m always happy with my cut every time I’ve seen her.
Only place I’ll go to Annie now.
Cost is very reasonable also.
THE PLACE TO BE.
Not too many barbers that specialize in kids haircuts but this one is literally hidden behind See's Candy on Prospect across from Trader Joe's. The family owned barber did exactly what we asked for (Psudo Mohawk) and that was refreshing! Thank you!
Good: Great cut. $40 (before tip). No wait. Bad: Not gentle so I don't recommend for first cuts or for children who are scared. Never answers phone. Does not accept card. CASH or VENMO. I've always taken my 3.5 year old 20 mins away to get his hair cut, to a place that's very gentle. And he looks forward to haircuts now. But that place doesn't do his cuts as well and I always walk out not totally satisfied with the style. So I wanted to try this place that's 3 mins away from me. She was fast, yet thorough, and the resulting style is great. Natalie I think is the owner did his cut. When I asked my 3.5 year old if he likes the old place or the new place he said the old place because it doesn't hurt. Natalie is not gentle and she presses the clipper guides through the scalp pretty hard. I could tell he was grimacing during but trying to be patient. She also sprays water all over his head many times. She also didn't clean his face after he was done so he had tons of hair pieces on his neck/ears/face. I would probably come back again just because she did a good job on the style.
