“Stacey was nothing short of incredible. It is clear that she knows what she is doing. From start to finish she was patient, informative, and skilled. She was sure to help walk me through the whole process. First we picked hair type and color. She was great at educating me on the differences of hair since I had never had extensions. She took into account that I love to work out a lot and have to wear my hair up for work. Knowing all of that she took me in the right direction. The day of I arrived not knowing too much of what to expect out of the experience. She greeted me that morning with a coffee and a smile. We started with a hair toning so that my old color would blend well. It was clear Stacey knew what I was looking for and had those skills she took blending to a whole new level. The install went great we took breaks as needed and she powered through. She took that time to teach me all I needed to know about how to continue to care for my hair and loaded me up with goodies to take home as a starter kit. It really shows that she cares about your experience by her simply sending me home with the right products to trial, brush and hair towel. To me that meant she wanted me to have a good experience. She didn't just send me home with an amazon shopping list crossing her fingers that I may or may not figure it out she set me up for success! We set up a follow up appointment to check back in and be sure I was happy with my color and cut/ refine all of that at that time for growth. The hair has been a game changer. Major confidence gained, tons of compliments, and opened a whole new world for me. I would highly recommend The Beaty Resort and Stacey for all of your hair needs. I will include my before and after! As a follow up she was sure to text and check in and reiterate that she was there for support. I did contact her a few days later asking which curling iron she used on my hair and she was quick to respond and offer the info. Plus offer to pick one up if I couldn't get my hands on one. I felt like this was proving of her being there as support through your journey.“

I booked an appointment and I was not disappointed. It's probably the best cut I ever had. The owner is super friendly and accommodating for such short notice. “Very happy with my experience at Dax salon. I came here for a henna + indigo treatment to cover my greys. The salon is very clean and the service is highly professional. If you are looking to get your hair done, certainly check out this place. Also to add, I have always had severe allergies when getting my hair colored using both chemical and more natural hair colors. But the henna and indigo that Daksha uses is very pure, resulting in a beautiful color with not the slightest hint of an allergy.“

“Crazy story time. 30 years ago when I was a wee lad I used to work in Cupertino, and I used to pop in to the haircut place in the shopping center where I worked for hair cuts. Fast forward 30 years, I've changed jobs, moved away, and haven't had a hair cut in the bay in ages... but I'm "home" briefly and need a hair cut. Quick look on Google and Happy Cuts is nearby with great hours. I ring and they're happy to book an appointment.The excellent woman is busy cutting my hair and we're chatting - I wondered when they opened (since they weren't here when I was a kid.) They moved here 6 years ago from... Cupertino! Turns out they were the shop in that shopping center 30 years ago that used to cut my hair!Anyway, the hair cut was perfect (despite never having seen me before and my hair being wildly over-grown). They asked all the right questions, clipped and trimmed it up just perfect. I took my mom, and she was equally pleased with her cut. They asked her a bunch of style questions and brought out some style equipment to ask what she was used to and what she did at home. They were really good about making sure she had something she was happy with and could manage at home.While we were in, lots of parents were bringing their kids through and they were excellent with them - kind, patient, attentive.So, crazy nostalgia aside, they did a great job. Easy to schedule, nice big place, clean, friendly, lots of people working. Prices are more than reasonable. I am really glad to have found them again and look forward to getting mom over there regularly for cuts. You should give them a shot the next time you need a cut, too!“

Noreen not only has a pitch-perfect sense of how to cut, she goes over and over the cut to make sure every hair fits perfectly with the hairs around it. “I've been going here for almost a decade and I love this place! My previous stylist unfortunately moved, but all the MA stylists are talented. I switched to Chellia and have not looked back since. She is just the sweetest. I feel truly heard, seen, and taken cared of. We start every session by discussing what I am looking for, then she helps me evaluate what is the most realistic and healthiest option for my hair. Next, off to a relaxing hair wash. Chellia is considerate in preserving the length of my hair, which I really appreciate (I still have nightmares about losing 12 inches of hair when I asked for a 2 inch trim at another salon what seems like centuries ago). She also checks in often. The result is the exact haircut I dreamed of (with minor adjustments due to just my genetics haha). The cherry on top of an already wonderful sundae are the people. The receptionists are so sweet and Michael is an absolute joy. He makes me laugh every time. Also, he doesn't age at all! I'm so jealous!“
