While Clint was there, I had him assess the trees in the back and paid out of pocket for him to prune and shape them. I was very impressed with the entire team’s professional and careful work, and watched as they dropped both trees with skill and control, with no collateral damage to the house or landscaping. Hernan Higuera Sr. and Hernan Jr. communicated clearly about what would be done and how long it would take. Special mention goes to Martin, who spent most of his time up in the trees, carefully roping and cutting limb by limb with assistance from the team on the ground, until at last he felled the trunk. Miguel and his helper did a great job removing the tree, grinding the stump, taking care of some roots, and cleaning up the area. His price was fair, I thought. “We hired Roy to remove five 40' Italian Cypress trees. He had to deal with our pool on one side and an alley with power lines and our service drop on the other side. He came prepared with a tarp to cover the pool and plywood to protect our concrete. He was very skilled at maneuvering his bucket truck, avoiding the power lines, cutting off sections at a time and lowering them in the bucket to avoid them crashing to the ground. His crew did a great job cleaning up the debris. We were very impressed with the whole process and his respect for our property. He was also very professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and attentive to our concerns about the process. His price was at the higher end but it was well worth it. The workers were on time, polite and respectful/careful of other potted plants near the tree line. The price was fair and reasonable considering today's labor market, workmen comp costs, insurrance costs, dump fees, inflation etc. A shout out to Mr. Walton (owner) and competent staff/employees for their attention to detail and flexibility as to the timing of this project. “Atlas Tree Service takes care of the trees in my community and while I am not a direct customer of theirs, I would like to showcase how their employees went above and beyond for me.
I met Fred this morning while they were setting up to trim some trees. I was at the park using a pool skimmer to try and dislodge my dogs favorite toy I had accidentally thrown into a tree (it was stuck). It is important to point out here I was failing with the pool skimmer.
Fred came over and told me not to worry about it, that he and his crew could retrieve the toy for me using their bucket truck. We exchanged numbers and within half an hour Fred was calling me to tell me he had left the toy in my backyard. ?
I admire people who go above and beyond when they don’t have to, basically when nobodies watching. After we hung up, I knew I was going to do this review because Fred (and crew) did something very kind for me and I’m very appreciative of it.
