“Where have I been that I didn't know about this absolutely incredible team?! I'm going to keep this review as short as possible, but needless to say, there are literally tons of positive things I can say! Right off the bat, the staff made the transition from our previous vet seamless and stress-free. We took our Maltipoo, Monkey, in because he was peeing all over the house. The staff got his medical records from our previous vet, and we were off to the races. I was very impressed with Dr. Balma and his thoroughness - not just in trying to figure out the cause of my dog's problem, but taking the time to explain all of the possibilities so I would know what I could face. Not only that, the doctor and the staff - Andrea, Stephanie R, and Giovanna - followed up and have continued to do so by text. I was shocked and SO touched by the simple act of just checking in. The techs have also been fabulous - Albania, Patrick, and probably others I can't name now. Even though we live a good half an hour away, we will continue to see this fantastic group of folks to take care of our fur babies!“

“We were there for a routine check up for Phoebe, our cattle dog. Dr. Harlan and staff were very nice and costs were reasonable. I enjoyed the environment; outside waiting area where a horse was nearby. Today I called for my Yorkie, a first time patient there. They are booking for June, but I mentioned I'm flexible for a cancellation. Mikeala (sp?) was on it and within an hour I had an appointment for this Thursday. Great customer service. My Yorkie isn't an emergency, but she does have a goopy eye I'd like looked at sooner than later (if possible). I appreciated the fact she remembered I was interested. What a professional office staff-5 stars for sure. Thank you ECLAP!!!“

“Our previous vet closed and recommended Advanced Care. Unfortunately, our first visit was an urgent one. However, the staff was very accommodating and compassionate. They were able to access our dog Brandy's medical records easily and managed her surgery and return home the same day. They called and checked in the next day to make sure Brandy was recovering well and we were comfortable with her recovery plan. We are grateful for the loving care provided to our family!“

“I brought my cat here for dental work because of the good reviews and affordability. For a dental cleaning and one extraction, the total was around $543 (including the cost of the visit). Compared to other places, which were over $800, it was very affordable. I am very grateful. Dr. Jesus did a great job. I requested before-and-after pictures of the surgery, and they were very willing and cooperative. The pictures were a bit graphic, but the area healed within 1-2 weeks. Thank you to Dr. Jesus and all the staff for making this possible and caring for my pet. :)“

“I had visited another VCA before visiting this location. The staff is efficient and helpful. Dr Lu was especially nice and helpful with my 3 month old chihuahua pups. She gave me a lot of good info and is willing to accept my desire to go holistic to a degree. They didn't try to upsell services beyond what I asked for. I am very happy with this office.“

“Dr. Dixon and his staff are wonderful! Many times, depending on the issue, we can get an appointment the same day. We rescued several homeless, throw-away kittens and cats and have taken them to this clinic. Dr. Dixon always spends ample time to explain things and really cares for all furry friends. “We have been clients at KVH for 24 years over three different dogs. We brought our newest addition in for her first wellness exam last week with Dr. Ronai. We have had so many services over the years from routine exams to grooming to emergencies and major dental work. Everyone has been consistently outstanding. All of the vets have been great but especially Dr. Michele Mason. Dr. Mason has been there since we started and is wonderful. She helped to quickly identify a serious issue with our dog Alvin a few years ago and suggested bringing him to VCA for emergency surgery, very likely saving his life. Dr. Mason (as well as Dr. Ungar and Dr. Jordan) also provided outstanding care to our beloved first dog Wilma from her first visit to the end of her life. My only issue with them is their phone system. Periodically, messages are left and not returned. I find it's much better to wait and speak with someone live or send an email. Other than that, they are awesome and an amazing service to have right here in Kensington.“

“Dr. K is the best veterinarian I have ever taken my pets to. Even when she's slammed on a Saturday, she takes her time with you and doesn't leave until all of your concerns are addressed. She recommends what is needed and doesn't try to add on unnecessary things. I also have to commend the vet techs as they are so friendly and attentive, especially Schnell. Bring your pets here, you won't regret it!“

This trip in, I had to bring my old lady pup for euthanasia. My heart was thrashed... losing my sweet sweet girl. All staff there were very kind. Very gentle. Loving on my Baby until she was gone. The care and concern expressed was very endearing. Professional. Accommodated us in an emergency situation. I am in gratitude.

The facility is clean and well attended. It was busy lbutwe were greeted iand helped mmediately.
