“I got a speedy response when I called Davey Tree. They were out and made an assessment of the situation (3 mature beeches infested with aphids, overgrown and throwing shade on my solar panels). Three recommendations: deep fertilizing, crown trimming, and early next year. a thorough aphid treatment. They removed 2 medium oak trees, removed 2 large cypress trees, mindfully trimmed the neighbors tree we coordinated with and beautifully trimmed 3 other trees we wanted to keep around. Couldn’t believe it all got done in a day with stump grinding and firewood stacks. They offered us the mulch clippings but we haven’t landscaped yet to use it.
