Two bathroom remodels requested, contracted.....NEVER completed. SIXTEEN MONTHS (16) after glass arrived and incorrectly measured...NO REPLACEMENT EVER DONE! Finally gave up and got another company to complete remodel. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel this is a very well priced business. I had windows installed the first time. My first clue to something was wrong when the lead person told me that Joe had told me that the bathroom and shower window could not be done because they were too small. That was the day they were here to put in the windows. I just let it go but I asked around about small windows and yes they can be done. Come back for a sliding door to deal with the old mobile home front door and 1970's windows around the front door. The helpers are amazing. I love those guys! These are 2 guys who work for Joe, They are older and wanted the day after Christmas Off. I know businesses need help. You have the same 2 guys who worked with you forever. Give them the day off. One has a kid in the military and a 15 year old grandson. Obviously, this is a small business. Its family time, this time of year. While, they were putting in my sliding glass door. Joe was over here twice and numerous calls. texts to the lead worker. He was in a hurry to get another job bid, The guy doing my door was obviously stressed and you add to it that He is already not happy He is working 12/26 and He is being hounded to get the door done here so He can run to the other BID. Maybe, the owner needs to get out his work clothes on for XMas and to go out there in the elements, in the cold installing windows. So, his employees get more than 1 day off for XMas. I give the guys 5 stars. Bill worked his ass off to get that door out! And, have a boss riding your tail?

I called Joe at Shelter glass to replace a Milgard window that the UV. film had failed. Joe came out and measured the window and said that he would order the glass. I waited about a month then called and left a message with Joe about the statis on the order. He said he would check and get back. Again, no response. I'm a retired General Contractor and gave Shelter Glass the benefit of doubt and hung in there. I finally got Joe to answer the phone which he said that the company he ordered the glass went out of business and he would reorder the glass elsewhere. At this point there was no answering phone calls and no return calls. So, bottom line I can't imagen having a large project and depending on Shelter glass to come through. whether It's a character defect or just poor business practice.
