“Dr. Watson came to our home and helped us say goodbye to our family pet, twice. Her compassion, professionalism and strength helped us say goodbye in a very loving way. We strongly recommend that if you have to make this decision for your pet, it’s so much easier to have someone come to your home, where they feel safe and comfortable instead of taking your pet to a cold sterile environment.<br>Both times, our dogs were in our arms, in front of the fire place with pieces of steak in hand. It’s done quickly and with dignity. Dr Watson was so kind to us. She then took the dogs with her. We had the option to have their ashes if we wanted them.<br>We now have 2 dogs again. And when the time comes, we wouldn’t hesitate about who to reach out to. It would be Dr Watson.“

I have notice a trend where Animal hospital are beginning to allow the staff to be rude, I know everyone is overwhelmed but it’s not acceptable, especially in rural areas like Tehachapi. She did an emergency mastectomy of 3 teets on my 16-year-old cat with a stage 3 heart murmur and did such an excellent job. She recovered very fast with no complications. “I had a one year old kitten who, I thought, had a bad fall. He had a big bump on his face above one eye one day. I wasn't able to get into our regular vet and took him here. I was pleased with the amount of compassion and information we got. Unfortunately, after being seen, the following days he got worse. Again I was able to easily get him in to be seen. The progressive rate his bump was getting worse and causing more problems, it became clear it was a brain tumor. We had to make the ultimate decision to put him out of his rapidly increasing misery and let him go. They were so informative, understanding and compassionate. It was my 5yo sons cat. They allowed him to be involved in the process and had him hold and love on him during the injection. I appreciate that they didn't question us as parents, we wanted to teach a big life lesson. We weren't about to lie or be deceptive. Honestly, I think he took the overall experience better because he was involved. We got to take him home and bury him, he gets to put flowers on his grave and talk to him when he wants. The office sent us a card signed by every employee. Personal notes inside. It took me by surprise. It's that extra personal touch that solidified my confidence that this is a dedicated, loving vets office. The whole staff was so friendly, supportive and helpful.“
