Mercedes is the best. She has over 30 years of experience and is very accommodating and surprisingly reasonable. Possibly the best value for money in the entire West LA for the quality of experience and cut. She was able to accommodate me last minute and did not rush. It took an hour to get a hair cut, eyebrow waxing and shampoo, along with wonderful conversation. And all this cost only $45? You cannot even get a decent pizza and drink for that amount. Mercedes often keeps the place open till 10 pm, so if you need a haircut from an expert, highly skilled artist (yes she's an artist who paints some amazing nature and modernist paintings that she sells), just give her a call. She's old school, so none of that scheduling software business. Parking is easy and free on ocean park boulevard. You cannot get a friendlier or more skilled hair stylist than Mercedes. Highly recommended!
